Be a part of the Parade! Create memories for a lifetime!
Again this year the Pack will be participating in the Alpharetta Old Soldiers Day Parade. The Parade will be on Saturday morning August 2 and will start in downtown Alpharetta and go to the American Legion Hall on Wills Road.
Important Details:
- Scouts and Leaders will need to wear their class A uniforms.
- Meeting Time: 9:30 AM
- Meeting Place: Spot #45 on Roswell street, just up the hill from the Corner Deli.
- We have a trailer for the Scouts to ride in and pass out candy.
The parade will conclude around 1:00. We will de-stage in Wills park, then walk to the American Legion as a Pack. Free drinks and hot dogs will be available at the American Legion Post. Please pick up your Scout(s) from the American Legion Post and see one of the Scout Leaders to sign out.
This event counts toward the National Summertime Award. The award is for those Scouts that have participated in at least one Pack event in each of the three months of Summer. There will be 2 more events in August, the Pack Meeting (19th) and the Back to School Pack Celebration (23rd).
