Help support North Fulton Community Charities by organizing a neighborhood collection today!
Pack 459 Families,
The pack will be collecting food and personal hygiene items in January to help stock the panty for the food bank of North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC). All donations will be collected at our Jan pack meeting on Tues, 1/15.
To help maximize this year’s donation, I’d encourage you to organize a neighborhood collection using the attached documents. If there are multiple pack 459 scouts in your neighborhood, please coordinate your efforts to organize a single collection. I’d recommend asking for donations at least twice (once this week and then again next Wed or Thurs) w/ a neighborhood collection on the morning of Sat, 1/12. Below are some comments re: each attachment.
- Neighborhood Flyer: The flyer (2 per page) can be put in mailboxes this week. If you use this flyer, be sure to add the scout(s) name and phone number.
- Neighborhood Email: The email can be sent to a neighborhood distribution list to solicit donations. If you use this, be sure to add your neighborhood name and ensure the collection date/times work with your schedule.
- Thank You Note: The thank you note (2 per page) should be given to anyone who donates items at the time of the pick-up.
