Spooky-Ree Camping: 1 Weekend left in October!

Posted on Wed, Oct 2, 2013

Hosted by the Atlanta Area Council at the Bert Adams Scout Reservation in Covington, GA and available to all area Cub Scout Packs, Spooky-ree is simply awesome.

Spooky-ree is a themed fall weekend filled with a Fall Festival, creepy-crawly nature show, pumpkin carving & decorating, archery, BBs, s'mores, and a campfire. The highlight of the weekend is the Trick-or-Treating Trail for all Scouts and an extra spooky haunted trail for the older Scouts and adults.

Come for the weekend, or just come for the day! Meals are available in the dining hall or cook on your own. You can even rent one of the camp’s canvas wall tents for the weekend.

Spooky-ree is a family event so be sure to bring everyone! Every Scout and Scout-aged sibling gets a patch and hot chocolate.

Registration & Availability:

Families can register for Spooky-ree directly on the Atlanta BSA Website at http://www.atlantabsa.org/Spooky-ree or by clicking on the dates below (availability is updated as of 10/21/2013). We can register as individual families, the camp director indicated they will assign all families from Pack 459 to (ideally) 1 coordinated campsite.
