Annual Support for BSA

Friends of Scouting

The Atlanta Area Council has begun its annual Friends of Scouting Campaign.  Friends of Scouting (FOS) is the principle fund raising source for our Council.

Your Scouts have been to Bert Adams and Woodruff Scout Reservations.  These fabulous facilities are made possible by your support of FOS

Additionally, money raised through FOS means:

• Every youth in metro Atlanta has the opportunity to be a Scout, no matter their economic circumstance
• Support and training for more than 10,000 volunteer leaders that make the Scouting program possible
• Materials and program development for the exciting, once-in-a-lifetime experiences that can only be found in Scouting
• A safe and fun Scouting experience with insurance for Scouting activities

We will be promoting FOS at the Pack Meetings with a formal presentation at the Blue and Gold Banquet on February 11.
