Cub Scouting's birthday is just around the corner
Blue & Gold Banquet
Happy Birthday to Scouting! We will celebrate with games, birthday cake, ice cream, basket raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and a silent auction!
DENS: Each Den will host an Super Hero themed activity and provide a prize basket at the Blue & Gold Celebration.
Game description from each den must be emailed to Hazel Kim by February 10th. *To ensure a variety of games, they are first-come-first-claimed. Get your ideas to Hazel early!*
Please have your den volunteer(s) arrive no later than 1:30pm on Feb. 23rd to ensure your game and basket are set up and ready before 2pm.
Scouts & Siblings can earn tickets for basket raffle entries by bringing in donations for Scouting for Food, and participating in the Den activities. Scouts have a chance to be awarded basket raffle tickets for demonstrating great Scout behavior!
Tickets will also be on sale for $1 each with proceeds going to the Pack.
Scouting for Food
Bring 5 non-perishable food donation for Scouting for Food and receive 5 tickets for the Basket Raffle.
Parents: Let's raise some money for Friends of Scouting and have some fun in the process. There will be a 50/50 raffle where 50% goes to Scouting, and the rest is awarded in 3 prizes: 35%, 10% and 5%!
All proceeds go directly to the Pack. All Dens are encouraged to solicit items/donations for auction. If you can help with a donated item for our Silent Auction, email Den Leader Heather Leeman by February 10th.
Friends of Scouting
We also use this opportunity to focus on our commitment to continuing the great resources that Scouting provides by pledging our financial support to the Boy Scouts of America through "Friends of Scouting." Contributions support the Atlanta Area Council operations, including the Bert Adams and Woodruff Scout Reservations in our area.
