Scoutings Birthday Party

STEP RIGHT UP, COME ONE, COME ALL

as We Celebrate Scouting at our Blue & Gold Festival

To the theme of CARNIVAL!

Saturday, February 11th, 2017 @ AFUMC Trinity Hall

It's the birthday of Scouting! Let’s celebrate with games, popcorn, birthday cake, ice cream, basket raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and a silent auction!

  • 1:30 PM: Volunteers arrive to set up games
  • 2:00 PM: Doors Open, Scouting for Food Donations Collected
  • 2:00-3:30 PM: Carnival Games, Silent Auction, Raffle
  • 3:30 PM: Cake & Ice Cream
  • 4:00 PM: Guest Speakers and Winners Announced
  • 4:30 PM: Cleanup

Den Activities! Each Den will host an activity and provide a prize basket at the Blue & Gold Celebration. Activities and Themes from each den due to Den 2 leader Cole Webb by January 29th.

Basket Raffles! Cub Scouts & Siblings can earn tickets for basket raffle entries by volunteering, bringing in donations for Scouting for Food, and participating in the Den activities (Tickets are just $1 each for Parents). In addition, Scouts will be randomly awarded basket raffle tickets for demonstrating great Scout behavior!

Scouting for Food! Bring your Scouting for Food Donation and receive 5 tickets for the Basket Raffle!

50/50 Raffle! - Parents: Let's raise some money for Scouting and have some fun in the process. There will be a 50/50 raffle where 50% goes to Scouting, and the rest is awarded in 3 prizes: 35%, 10% and 5%!

Silent Auction! All proceeds go directly to the Pack.  All Dens are encouraged to solicit items/donations for auction.  Please provide all donated items to Den Leader Cole Webb by February 4th.

Friends of Scouting- 100% Participation Goal We also use this opportunity to focus on our commitment to continuing the great resources that Scouting provides by pledging our financial support to the Boy Scouts of America through "Friends of Scouting." Contributions support the Atlanta Area Council operations, including the Bert Adams and Woodruff Scout Reservations in our area.
