Come to the Blue & Gold Celebration Feb. 22 from 1-4:30 PM

Location: Trinity Hall

The first 50 Scouts & Siblings to arrive will receive a Prize!!!

This year's Blue & Gold Celebration Theme: The OLYMPICS!

The “Olympics” will be in full swing with activities, basket raffles, cake, fun, silent auction and more!

It's the birthday of Scouting (founded in 1910) and we will celebrate with carnival games, birthday cake, ice cream, Basket Raffles, a 50 / 50 drawing, The Arrow of Light Ceremony and a special presentation!

  • Volunteers arrive @ 12:00 for Setup
  • Doors Open @ 1:00 PM
  • Cake & Ice Cream @ ~3:00 PM
  • Arrow of Light Ceremony @ ~3:45 PM
  • Basket Raffle & Silent Auction Winners @ ~4:00 PM

Den Activities! Each Den will host an activity at the Blue & Gold Celebration. Current activities include:

  • Pin the torch on Sochi (Dens 1&2)
  • Nerf Archery (Den 3)
  • Raingutter Regatta / Sailing (Den 6)
  • Hockey (Den 7)
  • Curling! (Den 911)
  • ZING Crossbow Skeet shooting (Den 14)
  • Ski Jump! (Den 15)

Basket Raffles! Each Den will be raffling off a Cub Scout Prize Basket. Cub Scouts & Siblings can earn tickets by volunteering, bringing in donations for Scouting for Food, and participating in the Den activities (Tickets are just $1 each for Parents). In addition, Scouts will be randomly awarded basket raffle tickets for demonstrating great Scout behavior!

Confirmed Raffle Baskets include:

  • Nerf Nirvana!
  • Cool Cub Scout Stuff!
  • Family Fun
  • Movie Night
  • Gift Card Gold
  • Lego Maniac
  • Olympic Gold

50/50 Raffle! - Parents: Let's raise some money for Scouting and have some fun in the process. There will be a 50/50 raffle where 50% goes to Scouting, and the rest is awarded in 3 prizes: 35%, 10% and 5%!

Friends of Scouting- 100% Participation Goal

We also use this opportunity to focus on our commitment to continuing the great resources that Scouting provides, by pledging our financial support to the Boy Scouts of America through "Friends of Scouting." Contributions support the Atlanta Area Council operations, including the Bert Adams and Woodruff Scout Reservations in our area. Please consider making a donation of any amount. We hope to achieve 100% participation this year.

Scouting for Food! Bring your Scouting for Food Donation and receive 5 tickets for the Basket Raffle!

New this year: A Silent Auction!

Bring your checkbooks and consider donating something to the Pack 459 Silent Auction. If you have something to donate, please contact John Leekley at JTLeekley@yahoo.com . If you have a checkbook, 100% of the proceeds go to the Pack 459 General Fund. Thus far, items which will be up for auction include:

  • 1 Scout Registration to Cub Adventure Camp
  • Handcrafted Red Oak Pack 459 Arrow of Light Plaque
  • Original, Personalized Artwork
  • A Weekend Getaway to the Intercontinental in Buckhead!
  • -And more!
